The short version

Every calculation on CalcRay runs entirely in your browser. The numbers you type are never sent to our servers and we do not store them.

Information we do not collect

Advertising

CalcRay is supported by display advertising. When advertising is served through a third-party ad network such as Google, those vendors may use cookies or similar identifiers to show and measure ads, including ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. CalcRay does not share the figures you enter into any calculator with advertisers — that data never leaves your device. You can manage or opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings, aboutads.info, or Your Online Choices (EU). Where required by law (for example in the EU, UK, or California), a consent notice is shown before non-essential cookies are set.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links may be affiliate links: if you act on an offer, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. These never influence our calculations.

Analytics

We aim to keep CalcRay as light and private as possible. If we use analytics, we use a privacy-friendly tool that measures aggregate, anonymized traffic (such as page views and referring sites) and does not build profiles of individual users or track you across other websites. We never connect analytics to the values you enter into a calculator, because those values never reach our servers. Any change to what we collect will be reflected on this page.
